NFL FLAG ACADEMY

NFL FLAG ACADEMY, presented by Youth Empowered USA, is a one-day football development experience designed to strengthen the game from every angle. By bringing players, coaches, and officials together under one roof, the Academy combines athletic evaluation with education and hands-on training to help build better athletes, stronger leaders, and more knowledgeable participants.
NFL Flag Academy is a complete football development event designed to allow players to prepare to compete, coaches to prepare to lead, and officials to prepare to take control of the game. Players will showcase their abilities in the gymnasium, while coaches and referees participate in dedicated classroom training sessions. The result is much more than a typical tryout or clinic.

PLAYER COMBINE — Gymnasium
Young athletes will have the opportunity to test, develop, and compete through a structured combine designed to evaluate several of the skills used in NFL FLAG competition. Participants will complete the 25-Yard Dash, Agility Course, Vertical Jump, and Throw & Catch evaluation. The combine gives athletes an opportunity to demonstrate their speed, quickness, athleticism, coordination, and football skills while providing coaches with a better understanding of each player's abilities.
COACH TRAINING — Classroom A
Great programs begin with great coaches. The Coach Training session is designed to give new and experienced coaches practical tools for creating a positive, organized, safe, and competitive team environment. Instruction will focus on the fundamentals of NFL FLAG, effective practice organization, player development, communication, leadership, sportsmanship, and game-day preparation. The goal is not simply to teach people how to coach football, but how to teach, motivate, develop, and lead young athletes.
REFEREE TRAINING — Classroom B
The Referee Training program introduces current and prospective officials to the knowledge and responsibilities necessary to confidently officiate NFL FLAG competition. Participants will receive instruction covering rules, positioning, mechanics, signals, communication, game management, professionalism, and situational decision-making. The session is designed to develop officials who understand the game, communicate effectively, and provide players and coaches with a fair, consistent, and professional game-day experience.
